Story in brief:
Castleford Tigers can confirm that Sunday's home pre season clash with Featherstone Rovers will go ahead (weather permitting).
The game was initially under threat following the extensive theft of electrical cable throughout the ground over the festive period.
Tigers chief executive Steve Ferres said:
"The electricians have done a fantastic job working over the weekend to get us in a position to be able to host the game against Featherstone this Sunday.
"As a result, I can confidently say that the necessary work will be completed in time for the match to take place at the Wish Communications Stadium subject to weather conditions."
"However, due to electrical work still to be carried out we will revert to a 2pm kick off."
Tickets are only available to purchase at the ground on the day and are £12 for adults and £5 for juniors and OAP's.
