KIRK LOSES RECORD

Tigers threequarter Kirk Dixon loses his 2009 ever-present record on Sunday, missing the Tigers game at Odsal after suffering a sternum injury against the Catalans last week. Dixon who has started every game this season for the Tigers hopes to return next week, missing just this one match. His place in the Tigers 19 goes to teenage winger Jordan Thompson who made his senior debut last month coming off the bench at St Helens.

Tigers 20 - 22 Catalans

Catalans recovered from an early 10-point deficit to keep themselves in the engage Super League play-off picture with a nail-biting win at Castleford.

The Tigers got off to a superb start with tries from Brett Ferres and Richard Owen but the Dragons were level by the interval after replies from Dimitri Pelo and Jean-Philippe Baile.

Clint Greenshields and Dane Carlaw then completed the fightback in the second half but Owen's second left Catalans clinging on to a two-point lead.
