Like so many of the young players in the Tigers squad, Daryl is an exciting prospect who became a regular in the side in 2011.
Clark made his long awaited Super League debut in the victory over Huddersfield Giants in the first home game of the year in February 2010.
Very much in the James Roby ‘mould', Daryl is an extremely dangerous player at dummy-half with all the attributes required to play at the highest level, with a killer instinct close to the line.
Daryl is a graduate of the Tigers Scholarship and Academy having joined the club from local junior club, Fryston Warriors. He played with the club's Under 20's side, and earned the coveted ‘Player of the Year Award' in their 2010 end of season awards.
2011 saw Daryl become a key part of the first team, scoring seven tries in 18 Super League appearances.
A year later however, he could not match the number of appearances as injury kept him out of the latter stages of the campaign. Daryl recovered from the injury and was named in Kieron Purtill's England Knights squad at the end of 2012.
Clark recovered and returned to the permanent first team picture last year, scoring eight tries and playing in every league game.
