Tate joined the Tigers on a two-and-a-half-year contract in April 2023. The exciting youngster began his rugby career playing union in his hometown of Scunthorpe before making the switch to league with Cottingham Tigers and then Skirlaugh. Tate joined the City of Hull Academy in 2017 before being picked up by Hull KR where he made 16 appearances for the Robins, scoring four tries. Will gained valuable experience on loan at Rochdale, Dewsbury and Workington and will be looking to make his mark at The Jungle.
